At FNQ Health Co. our therapists are trained extensively in sports massage to improve your function. Our therapists have a sound understanding not only of anatomy and physiology but also of the particular sport demands placed upon the body by the client and their specific sport.
Sports massages can include a range of techniques that approach muscles more deeply, such as trigger point therapy, myofascial release and deep tissue release. Timing is important dependent on what stage you are at in your training program. We may also focus is on flushing toxins and working through the muscles to improve general circulation and mobility for pre and post events.
