“Movement really is medicine.”
What is Exercise Physiology?
An exercise physiologist specialises in the benefits of exercise to help improve client’s general health or manage medical conditions or injuries through exercise. Exercise physiologists have a wide range of knowledge of the working anatomy and the benefits of exercise and how it can help you!
What can I expect from an Exercise Physiologist session?
We undertake a thorough assessment and work with you to identify your goals. We then work together to devise a management plan, specifically tailored to make sure you reach those goals. Your Exercise Physiologist will then prescribe a course of exercises for either fitness or rehabilitation, to help you get the outcome you want.
What can Exercise Physiology help with?
Exercise Physiologists can help manage a range of common musculoskeletal injuries, such as lower back pain, scoliosis, shoulder bursitis, rotator cuff injuries, knee pain and arthritis, as well as pre and post surgical rehabilitation and more.
